With a background in quantum physics and a strong inclination for analytical systems, Dean is the mind behind the research infrastructure of DeanTrader. He received his Dr. rer. nat. (PhD equivalent) in physics from the University of Bonn, Germany, in 2021. His interest in digital assets began in 2017 during his doctoral studies, ultimately leading him to explore the structural patterns of crypto markets beyond speculative narratives.
Motivated by the shortcomings of intuition-based market views, Dean started designing quantitative models aimed at identifying recurring dynamics within price behaviour and liquidity regimes. What began as a personal investigation following the 2018 bear market soon evolved into a broader research project. In 2020, the groundwork for DeanTrader was laid, with the goal of translating complexity into insight and offering tools that support a deeper, systemic perspective on market developments.
Today, his work revolves around market cycle analysis, liquidity modelling, and the development of educational formats that highlight the often-overlooked mechanisms behind market movement.
